Plastic Free Onlus

Plastic Free Onlus is a non-profit association founded with the aim of raising awareness and combating pollution caused by plastic. Founded in 2019, the association aims to make the world a cleaner place through concrete actions and social campaigns. Its main commitment is to raise awareness about the reduction and elimination of disposable plastic, with a particular focus on protecting the environment and safeguarding endangered marine species.

Since its foundation, Plastic Free Onlus has achieved significant results, removing over 4 million kg of plastic in various environmental clean-up operations. The association has organised thousands of events throughout Italy and around the world, involving hundreds of thousands of people, especially young people, in beach, parks and urban areas clean-up activities. These events are also an opportunity to educate the community about the damage caused by plastic and the importance of reducing its use.

The non-profit organisation, which is present in over 30 countries, promotes not only clean-up events but also the protection of sea turtles, a species seriously threatened by plastic in the seas. Through targeted campaigns, school projects and the organisation of plastic collection events, the association works continuously to raise public awareness and contribute to the creation of a greener and cleaner future, educating new generations to become part of a change for a more sustainable and less polluted world.
