Valsecchi Foundation

The Nadia Valsecchi Foundation is a non-profit organisation set up to honour the memory of Nadia Valsecchi, who died prematurely from pancreatic cancer. The foundation works daily to raise awareness, to provide information and to promote scientific research into this disease, which is still relatively unknown and difficult to diagnose early.

One of the Foundation’s main objectives is to raise public awareness of the risk factors and symptoms of this type of cancer, with the aim of promoting earlier diagnosis and more effective treatment.

The Foundation also actively collaborates with hospitals, research institutes and scientific societies, attempting to improve care pathways for patients with pancreatic cancer. Its commitment is not limited to funding research, but also includes support and information activities for patients and their families, helping them to better understand the disease and the treatment options available.

From 2015 to 2022, the association has allocated over €300,000 to research, promoting studies and research projects that are also promoted and verified by the Foundation’s scientific committee, composed of experts of national and international level.
