Casa ABEO Alloggi | Construction has started with our contribution

The first project embraced by Hellas Verona Foundation comes to life. Today, Wednesday, February 1, at Villa Fantelli, the home of ABEO - the Verona-based non-profit organization that provides assistance to the families of the young patients of the Pediatric Oncohematology Department of Verona - the groundbreaking ceremony of an ambitious and meaningful project was held.

The Casa ABEO Alloggi project becomes, in fact, a reality: on the perimeter of Villa Fantelli, work has begun to build four mini-apartments that will be dedicated to young patients being treated in the Pediatric Oncohematology Department of Borgo Trento and their families.

Many people wanted to participate in this very important moment today, including Hellas Verona and its Foundation. Together with representatives of institutions, including Luca Zaia (President of the Veneto Region), Simona Gioè (General Manager of Hellas Verona FC and member of the Board of Directors of HV Foundation), Sandro Mazzola (Club Manager Hellas Verona) and Antonella Benedetti (member of the Board of Directors of HV Foundation) also attended the ceremony.

It was a special day for the yellow-blue charity, which pledged to fully fund the construction of one of the four mini-apartments.

"Today is really a very important day for us" - emphasized Alberto Bagnani, President of ABEO - "the beginning of the work is an achievement that makes us really happy. The credit goes to those who support us. We really have to thank everyone, including, of course, also Hellas Verona Foundation and the whole yellow-blue Club, which have always been close to ABEO and 'our' children."

"The beginning of the work is a significant moment," added Antonella Benedetti, board member of Hellas Verona Foundation, "in fact, this is the first project that our Foundation has decided to support. We have committed ourselves to fully fund the construction of one of the four mini-apartments: an ambitious goal, but one that we definitely want to bring to fruition."
