Cuore Gialloblù 2026/27 | Mosquera voted best player of #VeronaVicenza
Verona – Daniel Mosquera is the winner of the 5th round of Cuore Gialloblù, the poll that, for the past ten years, has allowed Verona fans to vote, through the Instagram Stories of Hellas Verona, for the player who stood out the most in each individual league match.
The Colombian striker, returning after more than 150 days and making his Serie BKT debut, wins the round corresponding to the Veneto derby, decided by his brace within a few minutes. The Gialloblù number 25 came on in the 68th minute, scoring 2 goals between the 74th and 76th minutes and making 14 touches in total. An substitution that changed the game, allowing Verona to return to winning ways in the league and move up to 7 points in the table.
Andréa Le Borgne finished second. The French midfielder, who had already reached the podium on several occasions, completed 51 of 57 passes, including 31 in the opposition half. The 2 points he earned take him to 10 points in the standings, confirming his position at the top of the table, followed by Amin Sarr, who remains on 5 points.
Nunzio Lella completes the top three. The number 23 showed plenty of determination and commitment, completing 29 of 33 passes and making 4 defensive recoveries, earning his first point in the standings.
