#Folgaria2026 | Gialloblù training camp recap / VIDEO
Folgaria – Hellas Verona's summer training camp in Folgaria has come to an end, with the Gialloblù spending two weeks preparing for the 2026/27 season. From 12 to 26 July, the team trained daily at the 'La Pineta' Sports Centre, combining fitness work and tactical sessions with activities involving supporters and Club partners.
As every year, the Hellas Village served as the meeting point for all the supporters who travelled to the Alpe Cimbra. With entertainment, activities, the Food & Beverage area managed by Ape'n Down, the Hellas Store and plenty of opportunities to meet fellow fans, the Village accompanied every day of the training camp, allowing supporters to experience the Gialloblù atmosphere up close. The eagerly awaited Meet & Greet sessions with the players also took place inside the Hellas Village, giving hundreds of fans the chance to meet the squad, collect autographs and take photos.
On 14 July, the training camp also welcomed a special visit from the Hellas Verona For Special team, the Club's Paralympic football project. The delegation spent the day with the First Team, watching training and meeting the players and coaching staff.
On the pitch, alongside the daily training sessions, Hellas won all three of their pre-season friendlies, defeating Rovereto, Virtus Verona and Dolomiti Bellunesi. Before the match against Rovereto, a moment of remembrance was held in honour of Osvaldo Bagnoli – player, Scudetto-winning coach and the Club's Honorary President – who passed away on 17 July and remains an unforgettable legend not only for Hellas Verona but for Italian football as a whole. On Tuesday 21 July, the First Team, coaching staff and Club management returned to Verona to pay their final respects.
Among the highlights of the training camp was the evening event held on 24 July in Folgaria's main square, where the team met supporters and local residents during an event organised together with the local authorities.
During the two-week stay, new signings Leorat Bega and Seid Korac were also officially presented and gave their first interviews as Hellas Verona players. On 23 July, the Golf Club Folgaria hosted the Club's traditional Partner Day, bringing together sponsors and business partners for a day of networking.
Another successful training camp in Folgaria now comes to a close, defined by hard work on the pitch and the unwavering support of the fans, who stood by Hellas Verona every step of the way as preparations continue for the new season.
