Forever, Osvaldo

Football owes you one of the most beautiful chapters ever written. Verona owes you everything.

Some people win a Scudetto. You achieved the impossible. Because talent was not enough, nor was the way the game was played: it took someone capable of believing in a dream that no one else would have dared to imagine.

You did not simply coach a team. You taught an entire city to believe. Day after day, without fanfare, with the quiet humility that was your most genuine trait.

You were not born in Verona, but Verona made you one of its own forever. And today, the entire city comes together in remembrance of you.

Forever, Osvaldo.
