Gialloblù Youth Academy | Weekend match results
Verona - The weekend of fixtures has concluded for our Gialloblù youth academy sides across their respective league divisions.
Massimo Pavanel's Primavera 1 side earned a valuable point on the road against Torino, maintaining consistency in both performance and results following last week's victory over Milan. After ending the first half trailing by two goals, the Gialloblù fought back in the second half driven by an impressive showing from Akale, who netted the opening goal for the Scaligeri before providing the decisive assist for Zanin to make it 2-2.
The Under 18, led by head coach Francesco Caldana, picked up a second consecutive home draw against Frosinone. At the Antistadio 'Tavellin', the contest ended in a goalless stalemate.
A bye week for the Under 17, who will return to action on Matchday 4 with a home fixture against Vicenza over the weekend of October 3-4. The squad coached by Fabio Moro has registered one win and one defeat across their opening two competitive matches of the season.
Alessandro Montorio's Under 16 side also had to settle for a share of the spoils, drawing 0-0 at home against Mantova. The young Gialloblù will look to claim their first win of the campaign next week, when Verona travels to face Milan on Matchday 3.
The Under 15 maintained their flawless start to the season with a commanding four-goal victory on Matchday 2. A brace from Modenese alongside goals from Future and Gavrilita secured a 4-0 win for Jacopo De Paolini's side against their Mantova counterparts.
In the women's academy, the Primavera 1 Women campaign officially got underway over the weekend, with Simone Ederle's side suffering a 1-2 home defeat in their season opener against Genoa. Grotto's goal was not enough to rescue a result in Sunday's 4:30 PM kickoff.
For the 2026/27 campaign, the Primavera 1 Women retains its previous structure: twelve teams, a 22-match regular season, and four berths in the Final Four to determine the league champion. Following the single round-robin home-and-away stage, the top four finishers will advance to the finals, while the bottom two teams will be relegated to Primavera 2.
