Gialloblù youth sector | Focus on the weekend matches

Verona – A weekend packed with home fixtures awaits almost all the Gialloblù youth teams involved in their respective official competitions.

The only away league fixture will see Pavanel’s Primavera side face Torino at the ‘Centro Sportivo Robaldo’ on Saturday 19 September at 3PM, in Matchday 5 of the 2026/27 Primavera 1.

The Under-18, Under-16 and Under-15 teams will play at home, while Moro’s Under-17 side will observe the scheduled rest round.

Starting with the Under-18, Caldana’s side will return to home action after three weeks. Their opponents will be Frosinone, who have collected 1 point from their opening 3 matchdays. The Gialloblù have 4 points, with their most recent point coming in last week’s 2-2 draw away to Napoli, secured thanks to a brace from Zanolli. The match will be played at the ‘Tavellin’ Antistadio on Saturday 19 September at 11AM.

The Under-16 will also be in action on Saturday, although at a different time, when they face Mantova at 4PM. Montorio’s side are coming off their league debut, which ended in a 1-1 draw away to Vicenza. Mantova, meanwhile, suffered defeat on Matchday 1, losing 1-2 to Como.

Mantova will also be the opponents for the Gialloblù Under-15, who will face the Lombardy side on Sunday 20 September at 11AM at the ‘Tavellin’ Antistadio. Jacopo De Paolini’s side won their Matchday 1 derby against Vicenza, securing a 3-1 victory with goals from Modenese, Rhazouani and Gavrilita. Mantova also head into Matchday 2 with 3 points in the table, having won their opening fixture 1-0 against Como.

A weekend of tournaments awaits the youngest Gialloblù teams. On Sunday, the Under-11 will take part in two competitions: the “Memorial Cerato Muraro” in Vicenza at 9AM and the “Torneo Bossoni Next Gen” at 3PM. The Under-10 will compete in the “20° Torneo Nico nel cuore” in Montorio (VR) and the “Memorial Mario e Romano Bottura” in Ravina (TN), with kick-off scheduled for Saturday at 4:30PM and Sunday at 9AM, respectively.

The Under-9 Gialloblù will complete the programme, taking part in the “3° Trofeo La Stalla” in Imola from 10:15AM on Saturday.
