Gialloblù youth sector | Focus on the weekend matches
Verona – With the international break underway, there will be only a few competitive fixtures for the Gialloblù youth teams this weekend.
The Primavera, Under-18 and Under-17 leagues are on hold and will resume once the international fixtures have concluded. Head Coach Pavanel's side will make the most of the break by playing a friendly against Mantova, scheduled for Saturday 26 September at 11AM at the 'Olivieri' Stadium.
A similar situation applies to Head Coach Moro's Under-17, who, following their scheduled league break, face Albinoleffe in a test match at the 'Tavellin' training ground on Saturday 26 September at 3.30PM.
It is an away weekend for the Under-16 and Under-15, whose leagues continue without a break. Head Coach Alessandro Montorio's side, who have drawn their opening two league matches against Vicenza and Mantova, continue their campaign away to Milan, who currently have four points in the table. The match takes place on Sunday 27 September at 2PM at the 'Puma HOF - Vismara 3F' in Milan.
The Under-15 Gialloblù also travel to Milan, facing Milan at 12PM on Sunday at the same venue. Jacopo De Paolini's side travel to the Lombard capital as league leaders, with six points from victories over Vicenza and Mantova. Their opponents are also unbeaten and currently sit on four points.
The Under-14 Gialloblù make their league debut under Head Coach Riccardo Bolla. On Sunday at 10.30AM, the young Hellas players face Treviso at the 'Tavellin' training ground, beginning their campaign in the national competition. The league is divided into three phases: regional, interregional and national. Verona, placed in Group 4 alongside teams from Veneto, Friuli and Trentino, must finish in the top two to qualify for the interregional phase, from which the four teams that will compete for the national title in May 2027 will emerge.
Another weekend of tournaments awaits the younger Gialloblù sides. The Under-12 will take part in the '5th Gallia Tournament', a two-day competition held at the 'Centro Sport Village' in Collegno (TO). The Under-11 will compete in the 'Torneo Magni' in Gatteo Mare (FC), while the Under-10 will take part in the '2nd Battistolli Cup' in Torri di Quartesolo (VI).
As for the women's youth sector, the Hellas Verona Primavera travel to face Juventus on Matchday 2 of the Primavera 1 2026/27. On Matchday 1, Head Coach Ederle's side suffered a 2-1 defeat to Genoa, while their opponents picked up their first point of the season with a draw against Como. Kick-off is scheduled for Sunday 27 September at 5PM.
