Gialloblù youth sector | Focus on the weekend matches

Verona – The main youth leagues resume this weekend following the break for international fixtures. The Primavera league season remains on hold.

Following the international break, the Gialloblù Under-18 and Under-17 sides are set to return to competitive action. Massimo Pavanel's Primavera side will travel to Cremona on Saturday 3 October at 11AM for a friendly against Cremonese. This will be the final weekend without a league fixture for Peci and his teammates, who will face Lecce on Sunday 11 October at 10.45AM upon their return from the break.

The Under-18 side will travel to face Sassuolo on Sunday 4 October at 4PM. Francesco Caldana's Gialloblù come into the fixture with one win, two draws and two defeats from their opening five league matches, and currently sit tenth in the table. Their most recent competitive fixture ended in a 0-0 draw against Frosinone, while their opponents come into the match following a 4-1 defeat to Parma.

The Under-17 side return to league action three weeks after their last fixture, a 3-0 defeat away to Como. Fabio Moro's Gialloblù are the only men's side playing at home this weekend, with Vicenza visiting the 'Tavellin' training ground. Kick-off is scheduled for Sunday 4 October at 3PM.

Both the Under-16 and Under-15 sides will also be away from home this weekend, following their defeats against their Milan counterparts.

The Under-16, still looking for their first win of the season, travel to Venezia to face the third-placed side, who come into the fixture following a 5-1 victory away to Vicenza. The match will be played on Sunday 4 October at 3PM.

The Under-15 Gialloblù will also travel to the Veneto capital to face Venezia at 1PM on Sunday. Jacopo De Paolini's side come into the fixture following their first defeat of the season, but remain firmly in second place in the table. The Arancioneroverdi are still without a point and sit bottom of the league.

Following their convincing 8-2 victory over Treviso on their league debut, the Under-14 Gialloblù will travel to face Südtirol on Saturday 3 October at 3PM, looking to build on their strong start to the season.

The Under-13 Gialloblù will make their competitive debut, having been placed in a group featuring teams from Veneto, Trentino and Friuli in the Esordienti Under-13 Pro league. At the end of the first regional phase, the top two teams will progress to the interregional phase, from which the four finalists will emerge to compete for the national title. Their debut is scheduled for Saturday 3 October at 3PM away to Trento.

Another weekend of tournaments awaits the youngest Gialloblù sides. The Under-12 will take part in the 'Golden Eagle Cup' in Trento, which will be held on Saturday and Sunday. The Under-10 and Under-9 sides will instead take part in the 'VII Memorial A. Vanzetto' in Rosà (VI), with their respective tournaments taking place on Sunday 4 October and Saturday 3 October, both starting at 2.30PM.

As for the women's youth sector, Hellas Verona Primavera Women will host Napoli at the 'Olivieri' training ground on Matchday 3 of the Primavera 1 2026/27 season. Simone Ederle's side come into the fixture following two defeats in their opening two matches of the season, while Napoli have three points in the table, earned thanks to a 1-0 victory over Como last weekend. Kick-off is scheduled for Saturday 3 October at 2.30PM.
