Gialloblù Youth Sector | Weekend match results

Verona – The first weekend of the international break comes to an end, with only a few Gialloblù sides involved in competitive fixtures.

With the league season on hold for the international break, Head Coach Massimo Pavanel's Primavera side played and won 2-0 in a friendly against Mantova, a Primavera 2 side. Buniotto and Intrabartolo scored within the space of a minute late in the first half to secure the win.

A similar situation applies to the Under-18 and Under-17 sides: the former did not play, while Fabio Moro's side suffered a 2-0 defeat in their home friendly against Albinoleffe.

It was a weekend of competitive fixtures for the Under-16, Under-15 and Under-14 sides, with the latter making their league debut in the 2026/27 season.

Alessandro Montorio's Under-16 side suffered a 5-0 defeat away to Milan, meaning they will have to wait for their first win of the season. Jacopo De Paolini's Under-15 also suffered defeat against the Rossoneri, losing 1-0.

The Under-14 Gialloblù began their campaign with a convincing 8-2 victory over Treviso at the Antistadio 'Tavellin'. A hat-trick from Danesi and a brace from Belhouideg secured the first three points of the season for Head Coach Riccardo Bolla's side.

The younger Gialloblù sides also enjoyed success in two tournaments, the '5th Gallia Tournament' and the 'Battistolli Cup', with the Under-12 and Under-10 respectively coming out on top. Both sides secured victory in their respective finals, against Juventus on penalties and Vicenza. The Under-11 also finished on the podium, taking third place in the 'Magni Tournament'.

The weekend for the Gialloblù Youth Sector concludes with the Primavera Women, who suffered a 9-0 defeat away to Juventus in Turin. Head Coach Simone Ederle's side will have to wait until next Saturday for their first point of the season, when Napoli visit Verona.
