Hellas Verona Foundation awarded with the 'Beatrice Prize'

On the evening of Saturday, April 22, the Ristori Theater in Verona was the setting for the 'Beatrice Prize', a true celebration of solidarity. The charity event, open to the public with free offer, was organized by 'Il Sorriso di Beatrice' association. The Davoli family, founder of the association, wanted to turn the grief for the 2009 death of Beatrice - Rino's wife and mother of Tommaso and Ilaria - into an opportunity to help people living through the dramatic experience of oncological illness.

So many artists participated in the 10th edition of the event hosted by Luca Abete, correspondent of Striscia La Notizia, and Manola Moslehi, Radio Italia's top speaker. Among the entities awarded with the 'Beatrice Prize,' a work created by master goldsmith Michele Affidato, was also the yellow-blue Hellas Verona Foundation.

"It is an honor for me this evening to be here representing Hellas Verona Foundation." Thus began Antonella Benedetti, a member of the Board of Directors of the yellow-blue Foundation, and continued: "attending evenings like these, in addition to being very important, I think it is also a useful way to 'network,' and to compare ourselves with the many other associations and realities in the area. Receiving this award today, in particular, is a really exciting moment for me and for all of us: knowing that our commitment is already recognized and appreciated after only our first effective year of work fills us with pride. On behalf of Hellas Verona Foundation, I therefore thank the association 'Il Sorriso di Beatrice' for the incredible work it has been carrying out for ten years with great dedication."
