HV Academy | Sixth edition of the Summer Camp in Japan comes to an end

Verona – Hellas Verona’s commitment to international collaborations continues through the organisation of its Gialloblù Summer Camps. In August, the sixth consecutive edition took place in Japan, with several stages held across the country.

More than 500 Japanese boys and girls had the opportunity to learn and train under the guidance of Andrea Marconi, who travelled on behalf of the Club to oversee the practical implementation of the project. Working closely with the coaches from the various organisations involved, the Gialloblù coach led the training sessions across the three stages scheduled for this year, each lasting a total of three or four days.

For the 2026 edition, the cities selected to host the Summer Camps were Okinawa, Hiroshima and Shizuoka.

Since 2021, the Club has been working with several football organisations in Japan, with the gradual aim of supporting local football academies and contributing to the development of the country’s sporting, social and cultural environment.

Adapting to and respecting the cultural differences of each of our Academies is a fundamental part of the project. Thanks to this approach, the number of affiliations and new openings has continued to grow over the years. Many young players from all over the world have been able to pursue their dream of playing football thanks to Hellas Verona.

Below are the locations and dates of this year’s Camps:

OKINAWA (10-13 August 2026)
HIROSHIMA (15-17 August 2026)
