Moll: "We are paying too high a price for every mistake, but we must stay united and keep growing"

Rome – Statements from Hellas Verona Women head coach Joan Moll, released after Res Donna Roma–Hellas Verona Women, Matchday 23 of the 2025/26 Serie B Women season.

Coach, what is your analysis of the match? "I am certainly grateful for the players’ attitude on the pitch and for the work done during the week, as well as for the seriousness and availability they show at all times. We must continue to work, to build and to believe in ourselves. At the moment, unfortunately, every small mistake punishes us, and it is too high a price compared to what we produce. The team does not deserve this situation, given the commitment, dedication of everyone, the club and the entire environment. Today it was a match we could have drawn, a game in which we also had the chance to score a second goal. There is nothing to reproach: that is the reality".

How do you restart now ahead of the important match against Bologna? "Now we must stay united, believe, and keep working, building everything that can allow us to achieve this victory as soon as possible. We restart from Tuesday with desire and a positive attitude, aware that we must continue to work hard and improve, especially in those areas where we are still lacking something. We are confident in the work we do and in our potential. We must make the most of every match and every training session, turning them into a daily opportunity for growth. Emotionally, we are very affected today, but we must restart with strength and confidence in everything we do".
