Pavanel: "A victory earned with personality and determination. It’s a great source of satisfaction"

Florence – Head coach Massimo Pavanel's comment after Fiorentina-Hellas Verona, the 2nd matchday of the 2026/27 Primavera 1 Championship.

Coach, what is your assessment of the match? "It was a match that gives me great satisfaction. We are only at the beginning of a very difficult championship, but we came here to Viola Park to face the reigning Italian champions, played with great personality and deserved this result. It could have ended in a draw, just as it did against Cesena, but this time we managed to secure a great victory and I can say that we absolutely deserved it. The lads were very good because, during this usually difficult period at the end of summer, they gave a great response both tactically and in terms of the determination they showed in every challenge, demonstrating that they wanted to win as a team".
