School Project 2025/26 | Final event at the Bentegodi during halftime of Verona-Como

Verona – The 2025/26 edition of the School Project “Play with your class Hellas Verona” is coming to an end. The initiative, promoted by the yellow-and-blue club, aims to bring young people closer to the values of sport and football through activities and meetings organized within schools across the local area.

Throughout this season, the project once again involved a large number of schools, confirming the continued growth and interest it receives year after year. In total, more than 130 schools participated, including nursery schools, primary schools, and secondary schools.

To conclude the program, as per tradition, the final event was held at the “Bentegodi”, a symbolic and highly anticipated moment for all participants. During the halftime of the Serie A match between Hellas Verona and Como, the participating schools—19 kindergarten classes, 80 primary school classes, 31 lower secondary classes, and 3 upper secondary classes—had the opportunity to experience the thrill of the pitch by taking part in a parade organized on the stadium track. Around 1,000 students and teachers joined the initiative, marching with banners created in their respective classes and dedicated to the values of sport.

Leading the parade was the Istituto Comprensivo Minerbe, Plesso Bevilacqua, winner of the “Vote the Best Banner” competition, which not only opened the procession but also had the opportunity to take part in the pre-match Walk About, visiting the team dressing rooms and the tunnel leading onto the pitch.
