Serie B Femminile 2026/27 | Hellas Verona Women travel to Brescia on Sunday

Verona – Following the break for the Coppa Italia Women, the Serie B Femminile season resumes with Matchday 3.

The Gialloblù will face Brescia Femminile, coached by Damiano Zenoni. The fixture is scheduled for Sunday 27 September at 3PM at the 'Mario Rigamonti' Sports Centre in Brescia. The match will be streamed live on Vivo Azzurro TV.

Hellas Verona will be looking to build on their home victory over Cesena, winning 2-1. In the fixture at the 'Olivieri' on 12 September, Head Coach De Martino's side picked up their first three points of the season thanks to a brace from Santoro. Milan scored from the penalty spot for the visitors, but her goal was not enough to earn Cesena a point.

Brescia come into the fixture after a particularly demanding week, with two matches played between Sunday 20 and Wednesday 23 September. The first ended in a 2-1 defeat to Como in the Coppa Italia Women, while the second finished 0-0 against Venezia in the rearranged Matchday 1 fixture. The draw against the Arancioneroverdi gave Brescia their first point of the season, following their 2-1 defeat to Genoa on Matchday 2.

Last season, Brescia finished ninth in the league with 32 points, recording nine wins, six draws and 12 defeats. This season, Hellas Verona and Brescia have already met in a friendly, drawing 1-1 on 23 August. Peretti opened the scoring at the 'Olivieri', before Zazzera levelled for the visitors.

Head Coach Vincenzo De Martino had the following to say ahead of the fixture: “Sunday's match in Brescia will be a difficult one. We face a side coming off two defeats and a draw, and they will want to claim their first win of the season, so it will be a challenging fixture. They are a good team, and we need to take to the pitch aware of our own strengths and maintain our concentration throughout the match.”

The referee for the match will be Manuel Maiellaro (Parma AIA Section), with Alessio Reitano (Acireale AIA Section) and Brisel Spada (Bologna AIA Section) as Assistant Referees.
