Born in Olsztyn, Poland, on 20 May 1995, Dawidowicz came through the Lechia Gdańsk youth academy, making his first-team debut in 2012 and recording 36 appearances over two seasons. In July 2014, he moved to Benfica, where he joined the B team and spent two years, making 70 appearances and scoring 3 goals. Between 2016 and 2018, he had two loan spells, first at Bochum and then at Palermo, making 17 and 29 appearances, respectively.
Alongside his Club career, Dawidowicz represented Poland at every youth level, from Under-18 to Under-21, before making the step up to the senior national team, for which he made 17 appearances through 2024.
In 2018, he arrived in Verona for the first time, beginning a seven-season spell during which he made 180 appearances, scoring 4 goals and providing 1 assist in the Gialloblù shirt. During his time in Verona, Pawel built a special bond with the city and its supporters, becoming one of the most recognisable figures of the Hellas in recent years.
His determination, commitment and never-say-die attitude made him a favourite among the Gialloblù faithful, making his years in Verona an intense and significant chapter of his career.
Today, Pawel returns to wear the shirt he has always felt deeply connected to.
