Casagrande made his debut with the Italy Under-15 national team on February 20, 2024, in a match against Poland, after taking part in the Christmas Tournament and the Novarello Tournament in 2023, both with the Under-15 side.

This year, he received his first call-up to the Italy Under-17 squad, making his debut in a friendly match against Spain on January 20, before also making his official debut against Portugal on March 25. He has now earned his official call-up for the European Championship in his age category.
