Youth Sector | Tommaso Casagrande Reaches the UEFA Under-17 European Championship Final with Italy

Verona – Italy's journey at the UEFA European Under-17 Championship continues, and so does that of our Gialloblù striker Tommaso Casagrande.

In yesterday's semi-final, the Italian national team defeated their Spanish counterparts. After a 1-1 draw at the end of regular time, Italy secured a place in the final by winning 4-2 on penalties. The Hellas Verona forward came on in the 58th minute of the second half and played the remainder of the match through to the decisive penalty shootout, where he successfully converted Italy's second spot kick.

The final of the competition is scheduled for Sunday, June 7, at 7 PM, at the Lilleküla Stadium in Tallinn. Italy's opponents in the final will be Belgium national under-17 football team, who defeated France 2-1 in the other semi-final.
