
Antoine Bernede is a new yellow-blue midfielder
Verona - Hellas Verona FC announces that it has acquired - on loan with mandatory redemption upon the occurrence of certain conditions - from Football Club Lausanne-Sport the sporting services of French midfielder Antoine Bernede.
Born on May 26th, 1999, in Paris, he began his career in 2012, in the Youth Sector of Paris Saint-Germain, after his debuts in the local team FC Solitaires Paris-Est.
In the 2015/2016 season he made 3 appearances in the UEFA Youth League, before signing his first professional contract on June 27th, 2016, while being promoted to the Parisian Club's second team.
In the 2016/17 season, after making his debut with the B formation in the 7-1 win over Rennes 2, he totals 17 league appearances with one goal, three in the UEFA Youth League and one in the cup, while, in the 2017/2018 season, he collects 9 league appearances and three in the UEFA Youth League, also scoring another goal in the latter competition.
In the 2018/19 season, he is aggregated to the first team and on August 4th, 2018, he makes his debut by subbing in the 74th minute for Thiago Silva during the 4-0 win against Monaco in the Trophée des Champions. Only eight days later he took the field again, as a starter, in the Ligue 1 home match won 3-0 against Caen.
On February 6th, 2019, he was sold to Salzburg, a team in the Austrian top league, with whom he made his debut on March 17th, in the Bundesliga match won 2-0 against Wacker Innsbruck. In the following season, 2019/20, he played 10 games in the league, 3 in the domestic cup and made his debut, as a starter, in the Champions League in the group stage match won 6-2 against Genk.
In the 2020/21 season, however, he plays 19 league matches, three domestic cup matches, two Europa League matches and one Champions League qualifying match, for a total of 25 total appearances. During the following season, however, he recorded 17 league appearances and four cup appearances.
After his two appearances in the 2022/23 season, he was transferred on loan to Lausanne, a Swiss first division club, during the winter market. During the first half of the season he totaled 17 league appearances with one goal.
In the 2023/24 season he takes the field in 37 league games and three in the national cup, with two goals, while in the current season he collects 16 appearances in the Super League and two in the national cup and scores two goals.
In the National team with the French national team jersey, considering all categories from Under 16 to Under 21, he played 29 games and scored three goals.
