Cuore Gialloblù 2026/27 | Cerbone is the most voted player of #VeronaArezzo

Verona – Salvatore Cerbone is the winner of the third round of Cuore Gialloblù, the poll that allows Verona fans to choose, through votes in the club's Instagram Stories, the Hellas player who stood out the most in each league match.

The top spot goes to the 2007-born forward, who made a major impact on the match in his third Serie B appearance. Coming on in the 73rd minute, Cerbone scored his first goal in the second tier just two minutes later, before finding the net again in the 78th minute to complete his brace. In his 19 minutes on the pitch, the Italy youth international registered 2 shots on target, scoring with both attempts, and won 2 tackles.

In second place is Edoardo Iannoni, making his first appearance at the 'Bentegodi' in the Gialloblù shirt. The 2001-born midfielder, who joined on the final day of the transfer window, came off the bench in the second half and, within a few minutes, provided a superb assist for Cerbone before completing the scoring with a fine right-footed finish from the centre of the penalty area, following an assist from Tomas Suslov.

Suslov takes third place, having also made his first appearance of the season. The Gialloblù No. 10 came on in the 46th minute and contributed to Verona’s excellent second-half performance, providing an assist for Iannoni and completing 24 of 25 passes successfully.
