Dani Silva is a new Yellow-Blue midfielder!

Verona - Hellas Verona FC announces the acquisition of Portuguese midfielder Daniel Filipe Bandeira e Silva from Vitória Sport Clube.

Born in Beja, in the Alentejo region, Daniel Filipe Bandeira e Silva, as know as 'Dani Silva', began his football career in Benfica's youth sector in 2009. He continued his growth at Belenense, where he stayed a year, before moving to Vitoria Setubal. The midfielder remained in the green and white team for five seasons, until 2018 when he moved to Vitória Sport Clube.

After playing the 2018/19 season in the Liga Revelação, the Portuguese championship reserved for the Under 23 category, Dani Silva began playing his first matches with the B team of Vitoria Sport Clube starting from the 2019/20 season. In three seasons he made a total of 44 appearances and two goals.

The 2021/22 season marks his arrival in the first team, and on May 6th 2022, during the match against Boavista in a 1-1 draw, he also made his debut in the Primeira Liga.

In the following season, he made 30 appearances in the league, with one goal scored, while in the current season, Dani Silva played in 16 matches, also scoring one goal.

The Portuguese midfielder also boasts several appearances for the national team, from Under 18 to Under 21.
