
Fabien Centonze is a new Yellow-Blue defender!
Verona - Hellas Verona FC announces the acquisition of French defender Fabien Centonze from FC Nantes.
Born on January 16th 1996 in Voiron, France, he grew up in the youth sectors of Grenoble and Thonon Evian, the club with which he made his professional debut on July 31sr 2015 in Ligue 2, in the championship match against Nimes Olympique. With the Evian, Centonze played in the 2015/16 season and made 35 appearances - across all competitions - scoring a total of four goals and one assist.
In the 2016/17 season the defender moved to Clermont Foot, a club still belonging to the French second division. In the city of Clermont-Ferrand, Centonze played two seasons in which he made 66 appearances in total, in which he also scored one goal and five assists.
In the 2018/19 season he moved to Lens in Ligue 2, a club with which he played a total of 40 games in which he served four assists. The following year Centonze moved to Metz and made his debut in Ligue 1 on August 11th 2019, in the match that ended 1-1 against Strasburgo. The defender played three seasons in total with Metz, a team with which he played 91 games, scoring six goals and four assists in total.
Centonze moved to Nantes in October 2022, in the French top league, a club with which he made his debut on 23 October in the championship match against Nice in a 1-1 draw. On February 16th 2023, the defender made his debut in Europe in a UEFA Europa League match against Juventus, a match which also ended with a 1-1 result. In total, Centonze made 35 appearances for Nantes in which he provided two assists.
