From Germany for Verona's attack: welcome Faride!

Verona- Hellas Verona FC announces the acquisition - on loan with option - from Eintracht Frankfurt of the sports performance of German forward Faride Alidou.

Born in Hamburg, Germany, on 18th July 2001, the German winger started his football career in the youth academy of his hometown team, where he played all the way up to the Under-19.

His first-team debut came in the 2021/22 season, on 16 October 2021, in the match against Fortuna Düsseldorf. At the end of his first season in the Bundesliga, he collected 23 appearances and scored 2 goals.

In the 2022/23 season, Alidou moved permanently to Eintracht Frankfurt and played on 15 occasions in the league and in five matches of the Uefa Champions League, in which the German team was in group D together with Sporting Lisbon, Marseille and Tottenham, and against the English team in the return match, he scored a goal. In this edition of the European competition, Eintracht also reached the round of 16.

In the 2023/24 season he went on loan to Cologne, also in the Bundesliga: he played 26 matches and scored four goals.

In the national team Faride wore the jersey of the German Under-20 and Under-21.
