Gialloblù Youth Sector | Weekend Match Preview
Verona - November begins with a break in fixtures for the Gialloblù Under-17s, Under-16s and Under-15s
The Primavera 1 side coached by Massimo Pavanel will play their second consecutive away match after a 1-1 draw at the Sciorba Stadium against Genoa, with the Rossoblù equalising in the closing stages after Verona had taken the lead through Contarini. The Gialloblù, coming off two consecutive draws, travel to face Roma, who currently sit third in the league table. Kick-off is scheduled for Sunday 8 November at 1.00PM at the Tre Fontane Stadium in Rome.
Francesco Caldana's Under-18 side are preparing for their Matchday 10 fixture. The Gialloblù, coming off a narrow 2-1 defeat to Fiorentina, currently occupy 11th place in the standings and are aiming to return to winning ways after almost a month without a victory. Their opponents will be Lecce, who are 17th in the table with six points. The match is scheduled for Tuesday 10 November at 11.00AM at the Tavellin Training Ground.
The Gialloblù Under-17 side, fresh from their 1-0 away victory against Südtirol, will observe a break for international fixtures this weekend. Fabio Moro's team can enjoy the rest period while sitting third in the league before returning to action next week against Udinese, who are sixth in the table and only three points behind.
The Under-16 and Under-15 sides will also be inactive this weekend due to the scheduled break in their respective calendars. Both Verona teams will resume their campaigns next weekend with a challenging double away trip to Bolzano to face Südtirol.
Riccardo Bolla's Under-14 side resume league action with a derby clash against Vicenza and will be looking for a fifth consecutive positive result from their opening five official matches of the season. The game will be played on Sunday 8 November at 10.30AM at the Tavellin Training Ground.
Franco Arcaro's Under-13 side also return to action, still boasting a perfect record in their league group. Sunday's opponents at 10.30AM will be Cittadella, who will host the Gialloblù at the Toffanin Stadium in San Pietro in Gu (Padua).
Daniele Marchi's Under-11 side are hunting for another three points after an impressive 4-0 victory over Real Grezzanalugo. This Saturday, at 5.30PM, the young Gialloblù will host Alba Borgo Roma at the Tavellin Training Ground.
As for the women's sector, coach Ederle's Primavera side will be aiming to build on their first league victory of the season, a 2-1 win over Como 1907 Women. Their opponents this week will be Inter, who are set to visit Verona on Saturday at 3.00PM.
