Iannoni voted best player of #VeronaPisa

Verona – Edoardo Iannoni is the winner of the 8th round of Cuore Gialloblù, the poll that, for the past ten years, has allowed Verona fans to vote, through the Instagram Stories of Hellas Verona, for the player who stood out the most in each individual league match.

Against Pisa, Iannoni was one of the standout performers, delivering an excellent display both in attack and defence. The Gialloblù number 44 opened the scoring in the 51st minute, glancing a header from Sarr’s free-kick into the net to score his second goal in a Gialloblù shirt. Iannoni also made a vital contribution defensively, recording 8 defensive contributions and winning 9 duels.

Daniel Mosquera took second place, earning a spot in the top three for the fourth consecutive match. Although the Colombian forward did not score, he put in a hard-working performance, registering 4 shots, winning 10 duels and recording a passing accuracy of 86%.

Completing the top three is Simone Perilli, who earns his first point in the Cuore Gialloblù 2026/27 standings. The number 34, making his third consecutive appearance in Serie BKT, put in a solid display between the posts and helped secure the final draw with 3 saves in total, including 2 inside the box.
