
Luan Patrick is a new Yellow-Blue defender!
Verona - Hellas Verona FC announces that it has acquired the sporting services of Brazilian defender Luan Patrick, who has signed a contract with the Yellow-Blue Club until 30th June 2028.
Born on 20th January 2002 in Carazinho, Brazil, he began his career in 2012 in the youth sector of Internacional, a club that plays in the Brazilian Serie A. In 2016 he moved first to Juventude, then to Figueirense, until he joined Athletico Paranaense in 2018, where he was added to the U20 team.
He made his debut for the First Team on 9th February 2020, in the 1-0 away defeat against FC Cascavel, valid for the Paranaense Championship. A year later, on 21st February 2021, he also made his debut in the Brazilian top flight against Corinthians.
Patrick has a total of 26 appearances and two trophies won with Athletico-PR: the 2020 Paranaense Championship and the 2021 South American Cup.
In 2022 and 2023 he was loaned out to América Mineiro, with whom he collected 12 appearances, and Red Bull Bragantino, where he played 26 matches and provided 2 assists.
At international level, he represented the Brazilian national team at Under 17, Under 20 and Under 23 level, winning the World Championship in 2019. On 5th January 2024, he was included in the list of 23 players selected for the CONMEBOL 2024 Pre-Olympic Tournament.
