Primavera Coppa Italia 2026/27 | The Gialloblù face Pro Vercelli in the Round of 32

Verona – Hellas Verona’s Primavera side, coached by Massimo Pavanel, begin their Primavera Coppa Italia campaign.

It is a busy week for Hellas, who are coming off Sunday’s league draw against AlbinoLeffe and are ready to take to the pitch again just three days later for their match against Pro Vercelli.

The match between Hellas Verona and Pro Vercelli, valid for the Round of 32 of the 2026/27 Primavera Coppa Italia, will take place at the ‘Olivieri’ stadium on Wednesday 28 October, kicking off at 3PM. The winners of this tie will face either Avellino or AlbinoLeffe in the next round.

Last season, the Gialloblù beat Lazio on penalties in the Round of 16, thanks to successful spot-kicks from Vermesan, Peci and Feola. In the quarter-finals, Hellas then faced Atalanta, recovering from a two-goal deficit in the closing minutes after trailing at half-time. However, Vermesan’s brace was not enough to secure progression, as the Gialloblù were eliminated on penalties by the Nerazzurri.

Standing in Verona’s way as they begin their campaign in the Round of 32, having qualified for this stage based on their league position last season, are Pro Vercelli. The Piedmont-based side, who currently compete in Primavera 2, have collected five points from their first six matches of the season. In their most recent fixture, they suffered a home defeat against Renate at the Piola, a result that has affected their position in the standings, where they currently sit 14th.

Abdoulay Konko will lead Pro Vercelli from the touchline. The former player represented several clubs during his career, including Atalanta, Lazio, Genoa and Sevilla. Last season, the Piedmontese side overcame Union Brescia and Lecco in the preliminary rounds of the Primavera Coppa Italia, before being eliminated by Atalanta, losing 6-1.

The match will be refereed by Marco Zini (AIA Section of Udine), assisted by Vittorio Umberto Branzoni (AIA Section of Mestre) and Mateo Sadikaj (AIA Section of Mestre).
