Serie B Femminile 2026/27 | Hellas and Genoa share the points at the Olivieri
Verona – Hellas Verona and Genoa played out a 1-1 draw in their Matchday 6 fixture in the 2026/27 Serie B Femminile.
After an initial period of probing at a good tempo, the first real chance of the match came in the 20th minute, when Montesi collected the ball on the edge of the box and unleashed a right-footed shot that went narrowly wide of the post.
In the 28th minute, Ketis delivered a perfectly weighted free-kick from the middle third, allowing Montesi to time her run to perfection and head the ball past the goalkeeper to put Hellas ahead.
Genoa responded towards the end of the first half. In the 43rd minute, Cinotti sent Sondergaard through on goal; the Rossoblù number 9 tried her luck, but Bucci reacted well to gather the ball safely at ground level.
Verona therefore went into the break with a 1-0 lead.
The second half began with an immediate scare for the Gialloblù. From a corner, Hilaj rose well to meet the ball with a header. Bucci got a touch with an outstanding save attempt but could not prevent the ball from crossing the line, making it 1-1.

In the 70th minute, Genoa had a chance to take the lead. Sondergaard broke down the right and found herself one-on-one with Bucci, but the Verona goalkeeper produced an excellent low save to avert the danger.
Hellas pushed forward and created their clearest chances in the closing stages. In the 74th minute, Casellato led a swift counter-attack and played the ball to Vlassopoulou, whose powerful left-footed effort from the edge of the box was brilliantly saved by Ruotolo.
A minute later, Colombo threatened with a curling shot that narrowly cleared the crossbar.
The Verona number 9 came close again in the 80th minute, collecting a short clearance following a free-kick and sending the ball just wide of the goalkeeper’s right-hand post.
In the 83rd minute, the Gialloblù launched one final attack. Santoro picked out Casellato on the right, and she controlled the ball before shooting from the edge of the box, but her effort went high over the crossbar.
During the four minutes of added time, the teams continued to trade attacks at a frantic pace, but the score remained unchanged: Hellas Verona and Genoa drew 1-1.
