Tobias Slotsager is a new yellow-blue defender

Verona - Hellas Verona FC announces that it has acquired - outright - from Odense Boldklub the sports performance of Danish defender Tobias Slotsager.

Growing up footballingly in Morud, the city team where he was born on January 1st, 2006, in 2019 he landed at Odense, a club in the Danish cadet league, First Division.

He began playing his first official matches in the 2021/22 season, capitalizing 11 appearances between Under 19 and Reserveligaen Spring (the equivalent of the Primavera league), until, on May 21st, 2022, he made his First Team debut in the match he lost 2-1 to Vejle.

In the 2022/23 season, he is promoted to the First Team and makes a total of 22 appearances, being employed for 12 games with the First Team and for the remaining ones with the Under 19 formation.

In the 2023/24 season he became a mainstay of Odense's defense and totaled 30 appearances in the top division between regular season and playout, also playing one match in Oddset Pokalen, the domestic cup.

During this season, on October 2nd, 2023, he also scored his first professional goal, in the home match played against Lyngby. In the current season he has played 15 matches so far between league and National Cup, totaling 726 minutes.

In the national team, with the Denmark jersey, he has totaled 17 appearances from the Under 16 to the Under 21, also scoring a goal with the Under 17 formation.
