Verona immediately started on the attack. After 40 seconds from the whistle, the referee concedes a corner kick after a deflection on Mosquera's shot from the edge. Duda kicks from the crossbar and, after a deflection by Almqvist, the ball reaches Mosquera again at the second post. The number 35 takes a header but the ball hits the crossbar.

In the 10th minute Almqvist receives the ball from Valeri on the left flank, goes to the middle and exchanges with Bonny who serves him for a shot from the edge of the area. The Swede's conclusion grazes the post to Montipò's right.

In the 33rd minute comes another chance for Verona, again from a corner kick. Duda directs the ball to the first post where Ghilardi is anticipated by Suzuki. On the rebound comes Sarr who, however, fails to calibrate his shot and sends the ball into the lineout.

In the 39th minute, Duda, from midfield, finds a feed for Mosquera who, in the midst of two opponents, runs toward the opponent's goal and kicks, finding the deflection of Valenti who sends the ball into a corner kick.

In the 43rd minute Man, after receiving on the right by Bernabé, sees and serves Bonny. The number 13 takes a first-intention kick from the center of the area, Ghilardi is alert and deflects it into a corner kick.

After one minute of extra-time, the first half thus ends at 0-0.

In the second half, in the 57th minute Sohm verticalizes for Man who runs toward Montipò's goal. Ghilardi quickly recovers the Parma striker who thus fails to finish.

In the 75th minute Bernabè leads the Crusaders' counterattack and dialogues with Man who sends the Parma number 10 to the cross again. Valentini intercepts and sends the ball into the corner.

In the 80th minute, Vogliacco intercepts the ball and serves Bernabè, who immediately unloads on Man. The Romanian striker finds Ondrejka on his left, who right-footed a shot from outside the box that forced Montipò to reach out in the dive and concede the corner.

On 90+2' Ondrejka hooks the ball on Delprato's long throw and serves the insertion of Camara to his right. The number 23 puts in the middle but finds the foot of Montipò. On the rebound, Ondrejka tried, finding Coppola in coverage to deflect in a throw-in.

At 90+5' Livramento exchanges with Serdar on the right flank. The number 25 gets to a cross towards the center of the area, Tengstedt jumps between two opposing defenders and manages to impact the ball with his head. The conclusion is just wide.

After five minutes of extra-time, the match ends with the result 0-0.
