Federico Bonazzoli is a new Hellas Verona striker

Verona - Hellas Verona FC announces the acquisition - on loan with option to buy and potential obligation if some conditions will be satisfied - from U.S. Salernitana the striker Federico Bonazzoli, who has signed a contract until june 30th 2024.

Born on may 21st 1997 in Manerbio, Bonazzoli begins his football career in Inter youth system in 2004.

He makes his professional debut on december 4th 2013 at only 16 in a Coppa Italia match between Inter and Trapani. The next season, 2014/15, he makes his debut also in Serie A and Europa League. In the same year, he won the "Golden Boy" award at the Torneo di Viareggio, in which he ended up as the top scorer with 5 goals.

After transferring to Sampdoria prior to the 2015/2016 season, Bonazzoli plays for Virtus Lanciano (in the second half of the 2015/16 season), Brescia (2016/17) and Padova (2018/19), collecting 76 appearances and 11 goals in Serie B. While in Serie A with Sampdoria, SPAL (2017/18) and Torino (2020/21) he collected 57 caps and 8 goals.

Prior to the 2021/22 season he transfers to Salernitana where he scores 12 goals in 54 appearances in the last two seasons.

From 2012 to 2019 Bonazzoli collects also 58 games and 26 goals with Italian National Team youth teams, where he makes appearances with every selection from Under 15 to Under 21.
