'Il Calcio è di tutti' | Hellas Verona For Special at the ‘Unipol Domus’ for Cagliari-Verona / VIDEO

Verona – On the occasion of the 'International Day of Persons with Disabilities', celebrated on Tuesday, December 3rd, Lega Serie A and the Paralympic and Experimental Football Division (DCPS) of the FIGC are jointly promoting the campaign 'Football is for Everyone'. For this event, Hellas Verona For Special will be present at the 'Unipol Domus' stadium in Cagliari for the match Cagliari-Hellas Verona, 14th fixture of 2024/25 Serie A Enilive.

Three young athletes, accompanied by two chaperones, will travel with the Hellas Verona FC delegation to Cagliari. The Paralympic athletes will watch the game from the 'Distinti' section of the 'Unipol Domus,' alongside the players of Cagliari Calcio's Paralympic team, Casteddu4Special.

Before kickoff, the young athletes will have the opportunity to step onto the pitch, accompanying the team captains and the match official. A player from Hellas Verona For Special, one from Casteddu4Special, and a third player from Cagliari's Paralympic team will take part in the exchange of special DCPS pennants, in addition to the traditional club pennants.

During the halftime interval, the athletes from both teams will perform a lap of honor around the pitch to greet the audience at the 'Unipol Domus,' delivering a message of friendship and inclusion that transcends team colors, raising awareness about the importance of inclusivity in sports.
