Verona - After winning 1-0 against San Marino Academy away last sunday, gaining the access to the round of 16 of the 2023/24 Women Coppa Italia, Hellas Verona led by manager Matteo Pachera will take the field tomorrow, sunday september 17th (3 PM), against Lazio at the 'Sinergy Stadium' of Via Sogare in the first fixture of the 2023/24 Serie B.

The two teams already faced each other last year when Verona won 1-0 away thanks to a Rognoni goal and then went on to tie 2-2 at the 'Sinergy Stadium' with Anghileri and Pasini making an appearance on the scoresheet.

A tough and exciting opponent for the gialloblù who are set to take on the team who finished last year's league in second place. The biancocelesti finished Serie B just one point away from Napoli who gained direct access to Serie A while Lazio had to make an appearance in the playoffs where they lost to Pomigliano.
