2024/25 Serie A Enilive | Milan wins at the Bentegodi

Verona - Hellas Verona-Milan, 17th fixture of the 2024/25 Serie A Enilive, finished 0-1 at the Bentegodi stadium.

Milan's first trouble was on 8th minutes with Suslov's left-footed effort from distance, but it went wide.

In the 23rd minute, Milan came forward with Chukwueze's shot from distance, Montipò blocked without any problems.

The first real chance was in the 28th minute, and it was for Verona, again with Suslov who escaped on a counter-attack, entered the box and fired cross-field with his left, but Maignan was alert and cleared.

A minute later it turned out to be the Rossoneri who made themselves dangerous on a corner kick when Abraham's header went high over the crossbar.

In the 41st minute Milan was back in front with Terracciano's right-footed shot from outside the box, but Montipò was not surprised and with a flourish put over the crossbar.

After four minutes of added time the first half ended 0-0.

In the second half, a chance for the visitors in the 49th minute with a cut-back cross from Jimenez on which Montipò had to intervene with his fists, anticipating Chukwueze.

Milan found the lead in the 56th minute. Fofana centrally put in a pass for Reijnders, who kicked first-time with his right and beat Montipò.

A minute later, Verona tried to respond with Lazovic's pass for Suslov , who fired first-time with his left, but Maignan managed to block it.

It was Suslov who tried again in the 59th minute with his left-footer, but his shot, from a deflected position, ended up just wide.

In the 63rd minute it was Montipò who had to stretch to his right to corner an insidious shot from distance from Jimenez.

In the 80th minute Verona's chance with Suslov's beautiful pass for Livramento to slot in at the second post: the Yellow-Blue number 14 manages to get to the ball but puts it high.

After 5 minutes of added time the match ends, with the result 0-1 in favour of Milan.

Verona's next engagement will be on Monday 30th December (8:45 PM) when the Yellow-Blue will be the guests at the ‘Dall'Ara’ stadium of Bologna, a match valid for the 18th fixture of the 2024/25 Serie A Enilive.
