HOW TO DONATE 5X1000

The 5×1000 is part of personal income tax (in Italy, called IRPEF).

You can donate your 5×1000 when completing your tax return (in Italy called 730 or Modello Redditi), in the section ‘choice for the allocation of 5×1000’.

Allocate your 5×1000 by signing the first box ‘Sostegno degli Enti del Terzo settore e delle Onlus iscritte all’anagrafe’.

If you would like to support our Foundation, enter the tax code of Hellas Verona Foundation 93298200234 in the appropriate space (codice fiscale del beneficiario).

Even those who are not required to file a tax return can donate their 5×1000, provided they send the Single Certification (in Italy, called CU).

Allocating your 5×1000 does not cost anything.

Donating your 5×1000 is incredibly simple
1 Search in the Modello Unico, 730, CU form for the section: "Scelta per la destinazione del 5×1000"
2 Sign in the box “Sostegno degli enti del Terzo Settore e delle Onlus iscritte all’anagrafe”
3 Please indicate the tax code of Hellas Verona Foundation: 93298200234

How much is my 5x1000 contribution worth?

Your support means a lot to us and to the many people and associations you will be helping.

Since 2022, every day, thanks to your help, we have been supporting associations in our area through numerous social projects, carrying out activities that benefit the community and promoting the importance and history of our city’s team.
The Hellas Verona Foundation has already completed many projects, but only with everyone’s help will it be able to develop more and more with even greater strength.

FAQ - Answers to your questions

Does allocating 5×1000 have a cost? The 5×1000 is a portion of IRPEF (personal income tax) and does not constitute an additional expense for taxpayers. By choosing where to allocate it, citizens have the opportunity to decide which organisation to support with a portion of the taxes they pay, which will vary according to their income.
What do I need to allocate 5×1000 to Hellas Verona Foundation? Simply indicate the name Hellas Verona Foundation and the code 93298200234 in the box "Sostegno degli Enti del Terzo settore e delle Onlus iscritte all’anagrafe" when completing your tax return (730 or Modello Unico).
How is 5×1000 calculated? The 5×1000 calculation works as follows: once you know your net IRPEF tax (i.e. gross tax minus any deductions and tax credits), to calculate the 5×1000, you must multiply the tax amount by 5 and divide the result by 1000. For example, if your net IRPEF tax is £4,000, the value of your 5×1000 will be £4,000 multiplied by 5 divided by 1,000 = £20.
When do I have to allocate my 5×1000 donation? The deadline for submitting the pre-filled Form 730 is September 30, 2025. The Income Tax Return Form (ex Unico) for individuals must be submitted by November 30, 2025.
If I don't sign, do I keep the money? No, because if you decide not to allocate your 5×1000 to anyone, that portion of your IRPEF will still be paid to the Government.
If I sign, will my details be sent to the Foundation I have chosen? No, the beneficiaries of the 5×1000 do not receive the names of those who have signed in their favour, because the State disburses the contributions to the organisations anonymously.
What if I sign but don't write the code? In this case, the 5×1000 is divided proportionally based on the number of preferences received by the associations belonging to the category.
I don't have to submit a tax return, can I still allocate 5x1000? Yes, you can allocate your 5×1000 even if you are not required to submit a tax return. Simply deliver the supplementary form included in your CU (certificate of income) relating to the 5×1000 to the post office or bank. The form must be delivered in a sealed envelope marked "Scelta per la destinazione del 5×1000 dell'IRPEF" (indicating the name, surname and tax code of the contributor).
I have already allocated 8×1000, are they the same thing? No, the 5×1000 should not be confused with the 8×1000 (intended for the State or religious organisations) or the 2×1000 (intended for political parties): these are different choices and one does not exclude the other.
